Customisation

What can be customised?

Any and all text.

As long as a product has a personalisation box, you can customise it. There are no robots here. The very real human (Hi, I'm Tavie) who reads it can discern between a name, an address, and a design note.

Fancy a book stamp design for an address stamp? No problem! Let me know. Want to use an address label for your wedding favours? Sweet! I got you, fam.

My name is really long. Will it fit?

Oh-ho YES, we'll make it fit.

Through clever re-sizing and playing with kearning (the space between letters), we WILL make it fit and you won't even remeber how the original was meant to look.

If you have a particularly perplexing problem, we'll email you before production to make sure you're happy with the final product.

When and how will I see my proof?

If you've requested a proof, please allow 1 work day (Monday-Friday) for it to land in your inbox. If 1 work day has come and gone, please check your spam box. We're quite paranoid about deadlines, so it's probably just in the wrong folder.

The email will have a link that says Click to Review. It will send you to sweetbackflip.com, where you can select approve or reject. If you reject it, please leave a note about the changes you would like to make and we'll send you another proof until it looks just right.

Can you change the font?

In short, yes.

However, please be as descriptive as possible when requesting the change or tell us your preferred font's name.

We are unable to send multiple proofs with different options. If you ask to see multiple options, we will send you an email asking for greater detail, delaying production.

 

Can you change the illustration?

In short, no. However, please email hello@sweetbackflip.com before making the purchase to equire about artwork changes.

Can you create a custom design?

We are not doing custom orders at the moment. This is a service we're exploring, so stay tuned.

Shipping & Returns

When will my order post?

Purchases made before 11 AM (GMT) on a work day will post the same afternoon.

If you requested a proof and approved it before 11 AM on a work day, it will post the same afternoon.

How will you send my order?

All UK orders are sent via Royal Mail 24. ALL of them. Even if you qualify for free shipping, it will still be sent via Royal Mail 24.

Stamps & Labels are posted separately.

Please dont' be alarmed if one arrives before the other.

 

My order has shipped but I haven't received it.

Ah nuts. Sometimes, stuff gets lost in the mail and it's very frustrating for everyone when this happens.

Please email hello@sweetbackflip.com if you are in the UK and it has been more than 10 working days (Monday-Friday, non-bank holidays). After 10 working days, we will send a replacement.

 

For international orders, we're not allowed to open a case with the Royal Mail until 32 working days have passed. After 32 working days we will either refund your order or send a replacement.

You've made a mistake. How will you fix it?

It happens from time to time, and we're very sorry if it happens to you.If it's our fault, please email hello@sweetbackflip.com with a photo of the mistake and we'll send you a replacement, free of charge.

We don't faff around with returns or exhanges because 1) most products are customised and can't be repurposed and 2) the carbon footprint of sending the usable bits back to us far outweigh the cost savings.

2) If you have an account with us, log-in and reorder through via the "Order History" section.

3) Include the past order number in the "Notes" section at checkout.

I came across this business when I was scrolling through Instagram and debated for a little while as to whether or not I should order myself a stamper (or three) and eventually gave in and allowed myself an indulgent treat!

The process or personalising the stamps and placing my order was blissfully simple and I was very impressed with the great communication and high quality customer service and consistent communication which I received from the moment I had placed my order, to when it was dispatched to the follow up after care from Tavie ensuring that I was completely happy with my products. I was kept informed at every step of the way and I thoroughly appreciated the level of care that this company ensured that I received as a customer.

I was also thrilled with the quality of the packaging and how thoughtfully my order had been packaged, ensuring that the products were safe and protected but I also appreciated how environmentally friendly my parcel was with its recyclable packaging. My order was presented beautifully with a neat little box which made me very excited to open it, and I really enjoyed unwrapping each individual stamp and giving them a try.

As for the stamps themselves I am so happy with them and I love using them them! They give a really professional finish and really make a great addition to your budding library of books and letters as they make them so personal and special to you as an individual. They give a clean and crisp stamp and the ink pads are also great, they do not bleed at all and work very well with the product! Clearly a lot of research has gone into each aspect of the process and it really shows for you as the customer with how high quality the products are and the end result which they give.

Overall I am a very happy customer and once again I can not praise and thank Tavie enough for not only providing exceptionally high quality products which are great value for money but also for the excellent customer service which I received throughout my experience. I would highly recommend this business to anybody and will definitely be repeating my custom in the future!
